Parent Skills Group
Change the pattern. Not just the moment.
Our Parent Skills Group starts with you the parent: learn to manage your own emotions, respond to your child more effectively, and help your child reduce their emotional distress.
Parents who learn DBT Parent Skills often see better outcomes for their child’s own treatment and notice a real drop in their own stress and burnout.

FAQ’s
What’s the difference between Parent Coaching and the Parent Skills Group, which is right for us?
Parent Coaching is one-on-one support tailored to your specific family situation. The Parent Skills Group is a 12-week virtual program where you learn new skills alongside other parents, each week combines teaching with the chance to share how your practice went and learn from other parents successes and challenges. It’s focused on building and practicing skills, not on discussing everyone’s individual struggles in depth. Many parents say one of the most valuable parts is realizing they’re not the only one navigating these challenges.
If you’re looking for personalized, one-on-one guidance for your unique situation, Parent Coaching may be the better fit. If you’d benefit from a more structured approach, at lower cost with the support of other parents going through similar things, the Parent Skills Group could be a great option, and some parents do both.
